Bahamut, the Force of Wisdom, sleeping at his desk in the dawn light, having fallen asleep while writing down the constant stream of Knowledge in his mind through all the long night.
I know Final Fantasy fans will recognise the name, Bahamut is the King of Dragons, the platinum dragon. A chinese diety, I believe. In Of Myth And Music, Bahamut is the wise and good Force of Wisdom, patron of Avalon and all round good guy. His six wings come from his Bahamut ZERO manifestation in Final Fantasy VII, however, I made them feathered for reasons too involved to go into here. Artistically speaking, I am not so much pleased with this picture as I am OVERWHELMINGLY HAPPY!! I spent 7 to 8 hours on this, because I like the subject matter too much to do a rushed job and thereby make massive mistakes. I especially love the gadgets on his desk, I don't know what they do, but they look neat anyway. Oh yeah, I know what a sextent does ... *rolls eyes at self* bwa ha ha ha. Anyway, enough rambling.
